SSI Divemaster Certification recognizes candidates who have the knowledge and training to perform the duties of a Certified Assistant.
These duties include assisting SSI instructors during Try Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver and Continuing Education programmes.

Open Water Instructor

Dreaming to travel around the world working as a dive instructor?
With this globally recognised certification, you can work at SSI Training Centres represented in over 130 countries.
This in-depth programme provides everything you need to become an SSI Open Water Instructor.
Once certified, you’ll be able to train new SSI divers, teach Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and prepare Dive Guides.

Specialty Instructor

After your Open Water Instructor, you can start working on Specialty Instructing.
You can qualify by attending a Specialty Instructor Seminar or co-teaching a Specialty Programme with a qualified Instructor.
If you already hold a Specialty certification as a Training Specialist, it will automatically be upgraded to Instructor level.

Snorkel Instructor

The SSI Snorkelling Instructor programme aims to provide candidates with the knowledge and training needed to conduct basic level snorkelling programmes in a safe and fun way.
Upon completion you will be certified as: SSI Snorkeling Instructor.

Assistant Instructor Trainer

Assistant Instructor Trainers prepare Assistant Instructors to teach academic subjects and conduct training in the water.
As an Assistant Instructor Trainer, you are also qualified to assist Instructor Trainers, gaining valuable experience along the way as a dive instructor.
When you are ready, you can complete the Instructor Training Seminar, allowing you to become an SSI Instructor Trainer.
